What is a Rugby Development Officer?
A rugby development officer is a concept that is still new in Canada but has been a staple in most rugby countries as a link from schools to clubs to provincial programs. This position was created in our area specifically to support the development of local rugby programs and increase participation across Simcoe County.

Brandon will be focussing on supporting High school programs to ensure that all programs have inforamtion resources and support to effectively run SAFE and competiive programs. Brandon's goal is to increase the overall quality of all school programs across Simcoe County to drive participation and help our amazing local coaches in keeping making the GBSSA one of the most competitive leagues for secondary schools
ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS
Korey is available to come to your school and help the teacher run effective & fun rugby activities. He can assist teachers with understanding the basics of rugby so that they can continue to run rugby activities on their own. He can also get you connected with Rugby Canada's Rookie Rugby Program that provides resources and even equipment to school programs looking to add rugby to their offerings.
